Outside Sales Account Manager

Department: Outside Sales
Location: Allentown, PA

**Job Summary:**

Seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to drive sales of electrical products and services to an established customer base while developing new accounts. Focus on growing business annually.


**Responsibilities:**

- Act as the main contact for account-specific matters, building strong customer relationships, and acquiring new customers.
- Identify opportunities to expand product sales with existing customers and develop new accounts within the industry.
- Demonstrate product offerings to customers using various resources.
- Prepare sales contracts, coordinate with departments, and utilize CRM software to plan and document sales efforts.
- Stay updated on products and technologies, attend industry events, and participate in sales planning activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, report competitive conditions, and inform customers of company policies.
- Maintain flexibility to adapt to changes and handle assigned tasks effectively.


**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience.
- 5+ years of sales experience in appliances/electrical industry.
- Strong product knowledge, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong analytical skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret business documents.


**Physical Requirements:**

- Primarily sedentary work with occasional site visits and material handling.
- Travel to customer locations within a specific area required.
